The GivAClick Service enables consumers to make point-of-sale donations upon finishing the purchase of goods and services on a participating Distributor's website. GivAClick is particularly committed to safeguarding your personal & private information. This privacy statement details the following:

  1. What information we collect;
  2. How collected personally identifiable information is used;
  3. With whom personally identifiable information may be shared;
  4. When and how you can opt out of personally identifiable information collection, use, and sharing; and
  5. How we secure your personally identifiable information.

We encourage you to read this Privacy Statement carefully before using the GivAClick Service or making a donation to a Nonprofit. What information is collected?

Personally Identifiable Information:

GivAClick provides a variety of technology services to Nonprofits and Distributors. We provide these services as a convenience and to speed up the donation process. For example, if you purchase a product or service on a Distributor's web page and you respond to a Nonprofit's solicitation of a donation on that web page, then your name, email address, contact information and billing information will be automatically transferred by the Distributor to the GivAClick Service to streamline your donation and GivAClick may pass all such information on to the applicable Nonprofit. As such, our services may be provided to our partners under their brands and trademarks and on their websites.

Depending on the specific circumstances and services provided by GivAClick, we may receive personally identifiable information from you directly, or from Distributors or Nonprofits, in order to fulfill / process your donation or other request. For example, we will collect and store the amount of your donation and whether you choose to donate on a one-time or periodic basis.

Personally identifiable information means any information that may be used to identify an individual including, but not limited to, your name, email address, mailing address, phone number, billing information and other information related to your donation.

Non-Personally Identifiable Information:

We may also collect non-personally identifiable information, including technical information (e.g., your browser type, computer operating system, internet connection speed, geographic location, IP address, internet service provider, computer processor speed) and individual user preferences and history (e.g., web pages visited, time spent on each page), in order to provide a superior customized experience for users returning to Distributor web pages that use the GivAClick Service. Non-personally identifiable information may be combined with personally-identifiable information in order to provide you with more personalized opportunities to donate and to otherwise improve the quality of our services.

Cookies

Non-personally identifiable information, including technical information, is generally collected through the use of cookies, which allow GivAClick to recognize return users. Cookies are text files we place in your computer's browser to store your preferences. We use cookies to understand usage of the GivAClick Service and to improve the content and offerings on the GivAClick Service and our Distributors' websites. For example, we may use cookies to personalize your experience at these web pages or to facilitate the checkout process. If you choose to change your browser preferences to disable cookies, you will still be able to make a donation, but you may have to re-enter your purchasing information each time you return to make a donation.
